Terms & Conditions

Please read these terms carefully. They govern your use of the Connected Parent website, courses, toolkits, and digital downloads.

1. Who you are contracting with

Connected Parent is operated by Connected Parent LLC ("Connected Parent", "we", "us", "our"). When you use this website or purchase any of our digital products, courses, memberships, or downloads (the "Service"), you are entering into an agreement with Connected Parent LLC.

You can reach us at hello@connectedparent.org.

2. Acceptance of these terms

By accessing, browsing, or continuing to use the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions and by our Privacy Notice and Refund Policy. If you do not agree, please stop using the Service.

You confirm that you are of legal age to enter into this agreement, and — if you are using the Service on behalf of an organization — that you have authority to bind that organization.

3. What Connected Parent provides

Connected Parent provides parenting education: written articles, video lessons, scripts, worksheets, printable toolkits, and related digital materials created by a licensed child and family therapist.

The Service is educational and is not therapy, diagnosis, or medical advice. It does not create a therapist–client relationship. It is not a substitute for assessment or treatment by a qualified professional who knows your child. If you are concerned about your child's safety or mental health, contact a licensed provider or your local emergency services.

4. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity that happens under your account. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep it up to date. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.

5. Licence and acceptable use

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to access and use the materials included in your plan or purchase, for your own personal, non-commercial use within your family.

You must not:

  • use the Service for any unlawful purpose, or for fraud or spam;
  • copy, resell, redistribute, share logins for, or publicly post our courses, worksheets, or downloads, in whole or in part;
  • infringe our intellectual property or that of any third party;
  • interfere with the security or integrity of the Service — including uploading malware, probing or scanning systems, or scraping content;
  • reverse engineer the Service or circumvent any technical or plan limits;
  • present our materials as your own, or use them to deliver paid services to third parties without a written licence from us.

Professionals (therapists, educators, coaches) may use our printable worksheets with their own clients only where a resource expressly says so, or under a separate written licence.

6. Intellectual property

All content on the Service — text, video, audio, worksheets, graphics, software, branding, and the Connected Parent name and logo — is owned by Connected Parent LLC or its licensors and is protected by copyright and other laws. Nothing in these terms transfers ownership to you.

7. Your content

If you submit content to the Service (for example notes, reflections, or messages to our team), you keep ownership of it and grant us a limited licence to host, store, and process it solely to provide and improve the Service. Please do not submit sensitive information you would not want stored.

8. Payments, subscriptions, and taxes

When you buy from us, you are purchasing directly from Connected Parent LLC. Payments are processed securely by Stripe; we never see or store your full card details. Your card statement will show a charge from Connected Parent.

Subscriptions renew automatically at the stated interval until cancelled; you may cancel at any time from your account's billing page and retain access until the end of your paid period. One-time digital purchases are delivered to your account immediately after payment. Applicable taxes are calculated and shown before you confirm payment.

Prices are shown before checkout and may change for future billing periods; we will give notice of any change to a recurring price before it takes effect.

9. Refunds

Please see our Refund Policy, which forms part of these terms.

10. Service availability

We work hard to keep the Service running, but we do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free. We may modify, update, or discontinue parts of the Service, and we may perform maintenance that temporarily limits access.

11. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these terms, fail to pay, create a security or fraud risk, or repeatedly or seriously violate our acceptable use rules. You may stop using the Service at any time. On termination, your right to access paid materials ends; where practical we will give you a reasonable window to download materials you have purchased.

12. Disclaimers and liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. Parenting strategies described here are general education and may not suit every child or situation.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, consequential, or special damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill. Our total aggregate liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, death, or personal injury where the law does not allow such a limit.

13. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify Connected Parent LLC against claims arising from your content, your unlawful use of the Service, or your breach of these terms.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with a new "last updated" date, and continued use of the Service means you accept the updated terms.

15. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which Connected Parent LLC is registered, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. The courts of that state have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes, except where mandatory consumer law gives you the right to bring a claim locally.

16. General

You may not assign these terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets. Neither party is liable for delays caused by events beyond its reasonable control. If a provision is unenforceable, the rest remain in effect.
